Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone

The AT4022 is an omnidirectional electret FET condenser with a small-diaphragm capsule designed for flat, extended frequency response. It is very similar to the Cardioid AT4021, differing primarily in polar pattern.

The mic’s published frequency-response graph shows an essentially flat response from 20Hz - 1500Hz. Above 1500Hz, the mic exhibits a few HF peaks, most notably at 8.5kHz (+4dB).

Switches on the mic body enable a -10dB pad and a -12dB/octave high-pass filter (at 80Hz).

As with the AT4021, the AT4022 uses a small-diaphragm electret capsule whose 2-micron membrane measures 16.3mm in diameter.

The mic ships with a clip (A-T p/n AT8405a), a foam windscreen, and a carrying case.
