Description

The Apex 185 is a detachable-capsule FET condenser microphone. As with the Apex 180, it includes both Cardioid and Omnidirectional capsules, which can be interchanged.

Onboard switches provide a -10dB pad and a high-pass filter (slope and cutoff frequency not specified).

The capsules are believed to be identical to those used on the Apex 180.

The 185 is sold in matched pairs; the kit inludes “windsocks” (presumably this means foam windscreens), low-profile elastic shockmounts, and a hardshell case.
