Detachable-Capsule Pencil Condenser Microphone

Description

The HST-01A is a small-diaphragm “pencil” condenser microphone, sold with detachable cardioid and omnidirectional capsules.

Like all Alctron products, it is not typically available direct from the manufacturer, but rather through a number of European and North American rebranders. For example, the HST-01A is Apex Electronics’ model 180 condenser.

Alctron’s HST-02A is an HST-01A with the addition of a -10dB pad and a HPF; switches for both appear on the 02A’s body.
