Cardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone
The AMT is a transformerless FET condenser mic in traditional pencil-mic form factor. It has a fixed cardioid pickup pattern, although the cardioid capsules can be detached from the preamplifier body.
The mic has no high-pass filter or pad.
The 22mm microphone capsule most likely houses a ~17mm diaphragm, similar to the MXL 603S/604 and other mics listed in the sidebar.
The AMT404 ships in pairs with mic clips in a hard-shell carrying case.
