AKG Acoustics Perception Groove Pack
6-Mic Set
The Groove Pack is a six-piece drum microphone set compromised of AKG’s entry-level microphones: the Perception condensers, and the P-series dynamics.
The two overhead microphones are called “P 17,” but are described as being identical to the Perception 170 condenser.
The three P4 microphones include the one-piece H440 rim clip mount. Note that this is not an adjustable or shock-mounted rim mount, but a simple rigid clip that can snap onto a drum rim.
The kick drum mic is the P 2.
