AKG Acoustics D 22
Cardioid Dynamic Microphone
The D 22/XLR is a compact dynamic microphone for instrument miking, especially drums and guitar cabinets. It was part of AKG’s CCS series (“Crystal Clear Sound”).
Like all the CCS microphones, the D22 was inexpensive, and was build ruggedly with a metal body and metal-mesh grille.
It shipped with a 5m XLR cable and the H440 rim clamp.
The D22 appears to be identical to the Perception Live P4; see sidebar link to the P4 for more information.
The AKG Acoustics D 22 is also known as: D22, D 22-XLR, D22XLR, D 22.
