Stereo Mic Set
AKG’s C214 is a low-cost alternative to its C414 condenser. AKG’s matching process reportedly considers thousands of microphones, selecting two of “virtually identical” sensitivity that have the “highest possible correlation over the whole frequency range,” in order to ensure good spatial localization in stereo recordings.
Each set includes two elastic shockmounts, two hard mounts, and two foam windscreens, packed into an aluminum flightcase.
