    That is a lot of information. the only place I thought that any of the mics stood out is on the acoustic guitars. All of the other tests it just seemed like you could pick the one that provided the texture you needed.thanks for providing the demos. I really appreciate that.

    For me the Avantone Pro CV-28 really stood out! Picked it blind on multiple instruments. Guess I’ll have to try it soon myself.

    Thanks for doing this.

    The Oktava and the Avantone shone through on most of these – especially on acoustics + drum overheads.

    Only one where the Telefunken was in my top 3 was the tenor sax, which I mic up maybe once every two years.
