Now Hiring Interns

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010 | by

We’re looking for a couple solid interns to help build the mic database: work from home, on your own time, and get paid to learn about microphones. You *must* be capable of writing clear English. Photoshop skills are a plus.

If you’re interested, get in touch via the Contact page.

Update… 4 hours later, I have more applicants than I can afford. Thank you all for your interest!

    Hi Matt,

I am 100% a microphone nerd. I would love to write reviews/test/add content to the database. PLEASE afford me this opportunity. I work a PT job as a worship minister and I could be a great asset to your site.

    You’ve got the email.

    Nic

    Hi,

I’ ve been visiting the site often for knowing about specs and opinions.
Jumped in the band-wagon of home-recording not many years ago.

Nowadays using one mic featuring diaphragm rather than electrets (i.e. 603) .and was looking for sources about extra omni capsules and/or anybody doing decent modding.

I hold credentials as MS-SQL Server 7 certified but years ago changed in favor or more savvy database as mySQL is.

    BTW, also know PHP scripting.

As mic user by years both dynamic and condeser, glad to help on your project upon a voluntary basis so free for a limited time until you get satisfied.

I live in a country where labour is cheap so don’t hesitate to contact me to negotiate an hourly rate ahead a test period.

A ribbon mic could be part of the trade-off.

To work in field where I’d get satisfaction is already a bonus !

    Best,

    Nestor
